Binit lives only a 10 minute walk from school, but without the support of NCEF it would be out of reach. The financial situation for her family is very difficult, as they depend on daily wages for much of the year. She enjoys school very much and appreciates the support from NCEF and hopes it will continue.

Dilumya has lived with her aunt since her mother passed away, and contines to apply herself in her studies. They live in Sepangtol, just a half hour walk from school. She did very well in the grade V final exams and is looking forward to grade VI. This will only be possible with NCEF's support, as the family's financial situation is very poor.

Since burning his hands as a young child, Kisan has had a challenging life. He and his younger siblings lost their mother, and his family remains very poor. He has struggled in school, but has made a sincere commitment to do better. The support that NCEF can provide will give him that chance to improve, and will provide the education he needs to help his family.

Renuka commitment to study is very strong. She walks over 3 hours to arrive at school, and repeats the long walk to return home. She is the oldest of 6 children. Her family's agriculture and goat farming does not provide enough income for school, and she is very grateful for the support from NCEF. With their help, she hopes to attend grade VII in the next school year.

Sarata has a very difficult situation at home. Her mother left after her father died, and she now lives with her aunt. Her studies have struggled, and she did not pass the last final examination. She has made a new commitment to do better in school, and with support from NCEF she will be able to prove to herself and her family that she can excel in her studies.

With support from NCEF, Suresh has proven himself to be a very good student despite his hardships at home. He has lived with relatives in Devitaar since his father died five years ago, and his mother left. He would very much like to attend grade IX, and hopes that NCEF will continue to support his education.
