Bishnu
Age: 14 years
Grade: 6
School: Shree Bhaghawati Lower Secondary School,
Madanpokhara-4, Palpa

Bishnu has been studying in Grade 6 in Shri Bhagawati Nimna Madhyamik Vidhyalaya with the economic support from her brothers. She is living with her 3 brothers of whom 2 dropped out of middle school and now work as laborers. Being an orphan, she has to look up to her aunt and uncle for any kind of help or support. She wants to complete her schooling without any kind of obstruction due to financial problems.

Bina
Age: 18 years
Grade: 12
School: Shree Sarada High School,
Madanpokhara-5, Palpa

Residing in Tansen Nagarpalika, Bina lost her mother during her early teens. Even under worsened financial conditions, Bina has managed to complete her 11th grade studies. Currently doing her +2, she is a good student who really wants to complete her higher education. The teachers from Sharada Madhyamik Vidhyalaya are really proud of her and want her to continue with the good work. Her elder sister has completed her intermediate studies and her other 2 young sisters are doing their SLC.

Mana
Age: 11 years
Grade: 6
School: Shree Tinti Aanp Primary School,
Madanpokhara-8, Palpa

Another resident of Tansen Nagarpalika, Mana is doing her sixth grade at Shri Tinti Awashiya Vidhyalaya. Shaishik Abhiyaan Palpa (Educational Programs Palpa) has been supporting her studies economically, till date. she's living with her mother and two other siblings.Not much is known of her father's whereabouts, his name and occupation either, as he had abandoned his own wife and children. Mana Kumari really has keen interest towards studies and therefore wants economic support from NCEF.

Rekha
Age: 13 years
Grade: 7
School: Shree Sarada High School,
Madanpokhara-8, Palpa

A 7th grade student at Shri Sharadha Higher Secondary School, Rekha is living with both her parents and her 3 siblings who're studying in a government school. Her father is unemployed and her mother works in the fields as an agricultural laborer. Apart from seasonal agricultural income, they earn a mere $7 per month from other sources, such as doing labor-work on daily wages. Her mother being the only income source of the family, they have been facing financial problems which in turn has affected Bishnu's studies. She hopes to perform better provided that her family's economic status won't stand as an obstruction in her studies.

Kavita
Age: 13 years
Grade: 8
School: Shree Sarada High School,
Madanpokhara-8, Palpa

Living with both her parents and a sibling, Kavita is a 8th grader at Shri Sharadha Higher Secondary School. Again, Shaishik Abhiyaan Palpa (Educational Programs Palpa) has been supporting her economically.Her father is a tailor by profession and her mother works as a laborer. Earning a mere $25 a month and being from a cast that is discriminated in Nepal (Dalit), she is in dire need of help. She isn't able to concentrate in her studies because of her family problems. She'll do better once she gets the opportunity.

Rita
Age: 14 years
Grade: 10
School: Shree Sarada High School,
Madanpokhara-8, Palpa

Without any siblings, Rita is currently living with her widowed mother who's a laborer and earns on daily wages. She's a 10th standard student at Shri Sharadha Higher Secondary School. With a small income of $13 per month, its just sufficient to bring them two square meals a day. She wants to continue with her higher studies after finishing her SLC. Her widowed mother has to work very hard to support her only daughter.

Sharmila
Age: 13 years
Grade: 4
School: Shree Tinti Aanp Primary School,
Madanpokhara-8, Palpa

After facing several economic problems, Sharmila has managed to reach grade 4 at Shri Tinti Awashiya Vidhyalaya to continue her studies. her brother who is 17 did his 7th grade and discontinued his studies thereafter. Her father abandoned them, leaving her mother as the only supporter of the family and she, too, doesn't have a job. With practically no income-generating activities in the family, her grandmother has shown some little help. Shaishik Abhiyaan Palpa (Educational Programs Palpa), again, has been paying for her studies.

Sushma
Age: 16 years
Grade: 9
School: Shree Sarada High School,
Madanpokhara-8, Palpa

Both parents work as laborers to support their 7 children including Sushma. Her elder siblings haven't completed their middle school and Sushma is yet to complete her 9th grade at Shri Sharadha Higher Secondary School. With monthly income of just $8, its hard for her parents to support such a large family which is why her 18 year old sister left school after completing her 2nd grade.

Tilak
Age: 9 years
Grade: 4
School: Shree Bhaghawati Lower Secondary School,
Madanpokhara-4, Palpa

A 4th grader at shri Bhagwati NimnaMadhyamik Vidhyalaya, Tilak lives with his parent and eleven year old brother who discontinued his studies after grade 3 because of the family's financial problems. both parents work as laborers and aren't able to earn two whole meals a day. His parents hope that Tilak will continue with his studies with the help of NCEF and support them economically later when he grows up.

Tiloshara
Age: 12 years
Grade: 6
School: Shree Bhaghawati Lower Secondary School,
Madanpokhara-4, Palpa

Both her parents died and so Tiloshara is living with her grandmother. She is currently studying in grade 5 at Shri Bhagwati NimnaMadhyamik Vidhyalaya. Without a sibling and an orphan, Tiloshara has been able to continue her studies with the economic support of her grandmother.
