Teachers noticed that Pramila sometimes came to school hungry; once, she fainted during morning assembly because she had not eaten. Yet even though her parents are uneducated and extremely poor, Pramila was the top student in her class last year. Now supported by NCEF, Pramila is in the fourth grade and will continue to build her education and her hopes for a better future.
